2020 in Review and Looking Ahead
The Co-Co started 2021 with a member-exclusive salon conversation. This virtual salon was the third in our series of member-exclusive salons. Our first gathering was a dinner and discussion at Lynne’s house BEFORE we opened The Co-Co space. I started my career as a style blogger and stylist, and I've always loved animal print and the fact that it is timeless. Over the last 20 years I have collected faux fur animal print handbags and coats, so the transition into designing animal print handbags was a natural one.

I began my career working at HSBC in the institutional bond market in London and then New York. Following the financial crisis I saw an opportunity to join Seelaus, the firm my father had founded in 1984, and build out a full service financial services firm with a mission.

Our story began in 2006. We were relatively new dentists, working as associates at the same dental office in NJ. The two of us had an instant connection and became close friends in addition to colleagues. We were both pregnant, and between our dark hair and big bellies, many patients couldn’t even differentiate between the two of us!

I understand what it’s like to go through difficult times and come out on the other side stronger and with a more empowered mindset. I have lost loved ones to suicide, overcame an eating disorder, and conquered panic attacks and burnout.
