I am a connector of people, business, community and a vast network of industry professionals who make up every aspect of what gets done here. I created a business that has moved with me through all facets of my changing lifestyle and has a team of people to count on for any project, mostly made up of people in my life for over 10 years. – That says something.
Starting out in Philadelphia after college under the legendary Public Relations and Special Events mastermind, Nicole Cashman, I worked my way back to New Jersey as a public relations executive in 2003 and I have two decades of experience in PR and special events for luxury retailers such as Hugo Boss, Neiman Marcus and Saks Fifth Avenue. I started The Hip Event in 2006 to bring my expertise of events and public relations to local luxury retailers to create some of the most memorable events.
Whether you want to celebrate a milestone in your personal life or your work, I am a great plus 1. I can help you define what you want your event to look and feel like and I will help you execute it flawlessly with my network of industry professionals. Because my PR brain never shuts off, it is the love of story telling that sets me apart. I want to get to know you so we can make sure that your story comes through every aspect of your event. I expanded the brand in 2014 with HipNewJersey.com, a digital platform that featured the latest in fashion, food, trends, personalities, business, community, and entertainment in the Garden State calling on all my friends in the industry to be a part of this digital community. I furthered the brand and co-produced Hip New Jersey for local television in a thirty-minute magazine-style program that reached over 600,000 homes in Morris, Essex, Union and Somerset Counties.
In 2017, I dialed things back to focus on family and raising these tiny humans. I moved into the personal events space as a Senior Event Planner for various top event planners in the industry which has brought us here today. My expertise in fashion, public relations, marketing and personal event planning makes me a great plus 1 for any client; big or small, personal or corporate.
The last 7 years I have been focused on the personal events space and found love here. Although I have a marketing mind, it is the personal connections to families and their BEST DAY EVER that really feeds my soul. The pre-planning a year and sometimes more allows me to focus on my clients when they need me and my family when they do.
The prompt for me to join The Co-Co was an easy one. When thinking about my 2025 marketing goals and how I was going to let people know I am still at it, The Co-Co was a natural fit. When I think about the type of people I want to be surrounded by, it is the members of this wonderful community!
