I was born in Pakistan and grew up with a passion for exploration and learning that shaped my journey. My career took me across Bahrain, Turkey, Mexico, Italy, and Japan, deepening my appreciation for diverse cultures.
With BS and MS degrees in Chemical Engineering from MIT and an MBA from Wharton, I spent 23 years in the chemical industry leading global teams. My proudest moments came from mentoring young women to break barriers and achieve more than they thought possible.
Inspired to make a bigger impact, I left corporate America to launch The Mira Shoppe, a socially conscious jewelry brand celebrating craftsmanship and supporting girls’ education in underserved communities. This venture allows me to empower women and create positive change, one piece of jewelry at a time.
The Mira Shoppe was born from my passion for empowering women and celebrating the beauty of diverse cultures. My business offers fine jewelry and handmade accessories from Latin America, with every piece telling a unique story of skilled craftsmanship and heritage.

Now based in New Jersey, I’ve built a life focused on purpose, connection, and meaningful work. I heard about the Co-Co through another member and joined to expand my local network of like-minded women. The Co-Co has been an essential resource during my first year as a business owner and will grow in relevance as I tackle more complex challenges going forward.
