Member Spotlight: Meet Suzy Frankel
Hello! My name is Suzy Frankel, and I live in Short Hills with my incredible husband and two amazing children. Fashion and style run through my DNA. I am proud to be the former co-owner of Gotham City Clothing, a unique mother-daughter-owned retail specialty store in Millburn. For over three decades, Gotham catered to the fashion needs of teen and tween girls. I was immersed in all aspects of the business; however, my true passion and expertise lay in the creative realm, encompassing buying, merchandising, and marketing responsibilities.
In 2017, my mom and I decided to retire from the retail industry, providing me with a golden opportunity to transition into the role of a stay-at-home mom. As my children have become more independent and my nest is starting to empty, I recognize that it is my time to embark on a new professional journey. Driven by my creative talents and an obsession for beautiful interiors, I recently earned an Interior Design Certification. I am now eager to apply my keen eye for style, attention to detail, and passion for home fashion to the inspiring world of interior design. My background in fashion and retail and my love for interior design will blend seamlessly. As I begin this exciting new chapter in my career, I eagerly anticipate forging new connections and networking within the dynamic Co-Co community!
While transitioning my career, I am full of personal fashion and home decor styling input and advice. I can help merchandise and accessorize public and personal spaces.
A dear friend told me all about The Co-Co and how it was one of the first steps she took when embarking on advancing her career. I knew it was worth investigating! I’m excited to network and collaborate with local successful women!
