Member Spotlight: Meet Stephanie Pereira Lima

I was born in Miami to a Cuban mother and a Brazilian father. I'm an older sister and grew up dancing from childhood through high school. At 18, I moved up to NYC for college (St. John's University - where I studied Government & Politics with a minor in Philosophy) and started working in sales & business development for a tech company on Wall Street the day after I graduated college. In 2014, I was awarded the Fulbright Scholarship and got to spend that whole year in Brazil teaching English to college students. This was my spiritual awakening year - one where I had the time and space to dig into spiritual texts, reflect, meditate, and question everything. I moved back to NYC in 2015 and began what would then be a 7-year career with a corporate event marketing agency. In this role I was doing it all - business development, client relations, hiring and training the team, leading team culture and wellness, and traveling a ton! After spending about 8 years in Brooklyn, we decided to move out to West Orange, NJ in the fall of the pandemic. Nico and I were engaged to be married in July 2020 and then decided to postpone our wedding by two years and purchased a home instead. It's a big milestone for us and our family lineage. It took me a few years to get clear on what I wanted to do next as my work in corporate was no longer fulfilling me. I started to dive deep into my own healing work and explored several alternative healing modalities such as reiki, breathwork, plant medicine, moon circles, akashic record readings, hypnosis work, past life regression, numerology, astrology, and took several courses on inner work, goddess consciousness, etc. Fast forward to May 2022, I officially transitioned out of corporate and launched my spiritual business :)

My mission is to support awakening souls tune back to Self, to heal and align their mind-body-soul connection so that they may create a life of presence, power and purpose. The transition from an ego-driven life to a soul-led one is not for the faint of heart. It can feel lonely and scary at first and yet so fulfilling and expansive. As a Soul Coach, IntuitiveEnergy Healer, and Space Holder, my intention is to create a safe and supportive container so that my client can tap into their truth and vulnerability, and begin to deepen their relationship with Self + source. I seek to create a space for soul exploration...so that they may expand their self-awareness, heal past wounds, and step into their power, truth, and light. My work is about creating practical habits that can support their vibrational alignment and also uncover their true purpose and soul calling. My private 1:1 container is called SOUL SPACE. We meet on Zoom, over the course of three months and nine sessions. I believe in meeting my clients where they are so each session is unique and personalized. I bring in a few modalities into the sessions such as open-heart conversations + coaching, somatic and breathwork coaching, reiki, journaling, meditation, movement, etc. You'll also find me hosting and facilitating community events out of a few spaces in NJ, Brooklyn, and Queens. Lastly, I facilitate wellness experiences in the workplace. Given my background in corporate, I feel it's important to bring healing work into the workplace. I do this by guiding meditation, breathwork experiences, and self-awareness workshops. A topic I love to teach is burnout and stress management.

When I first arrived in NJ, I became a member of the RISE FB group, which is a collective for local healers and wellness practitioners. I was then referred to Rebecca Ryan's group, Fempreneur, and it was in those networking calls/events that I was introduced to The Co-Co. I decided to pop in for an open house visit in January and officially joined the community in February. The Co-Co has felt like a home away from home for me. A little sanctuary to work out of and to meet some new and interesting locals.

Check out Space by Steph here!
