Member Spotlight: Meet Nicole Smith

Nicole Smith is rooted in the value of volunteerism. She has been the champion and cheerleader for the NJ Chapter of the global literacy organization Room to Read for over a decade. This endeavor led to a weekly radio show/podcast through the Hunterdon Chamber of Commerce called Happy to Help, focused on the benefits of giving back to others. She has conducted over 120 interviews with philanthropists, fundraisers, directors and authors.

Her newest gig is leading the NJ Circle for Daughterhood.org. Nicole is entrenched in the sandwich generation, managing five children and three parents with senior health issues. She is currently working on a prescriptive book on how to manage the medical, legal, and financial issues when caring for an aging parent.

“I am a conscientious connector. I am not shy about sharing information and promoting people and their businesses in a thoughtful and productive manner.

I heard about the Co-Co through Morphmom. I was immediately drawn to the space, the people and the purpose. I am constantly connecting with members and take advantage of the expertise offered through various webinars.”
