Member Spotlight: Meet Kristen DuBois

Hi there, I'm Kristen DuBois, owner of BlushTan™ Summit, Livingston resident, and first-time mom of an 8-month old baby. (Life is crazy but in the best way possible!) I always get asked how I ended up in the spray tanning business.

My journey began in 2012 when one of my college girlfriends let me in on her beauty secret: the credit for her natural glow was all thanks to a small business in town called BlushTan™. I immediately booked and fell in love with the real-looking results plus organic and natural-based ingredients. I ended up applying for a part-time position and was hired, trained, and mentored by the founder of BlushTan™ herself, Christina Shniffer. I managed her flagship location in Wellesley, MA for several years before moving to NJ/NYC for a corporate job. However, always on the hunt for a good spray tan, I couldn't help but compare every experience to my gold standard.

Long story short, I stayed in touch with Christina over the years and was excited to learn she was creating a licensing program to empower other women to open their own businesses and offer her products that we all knew and loved. It was only a matter of time before I finally took the plunge, opened my own business, and brought my favorite spray tanning line to my favorite town.

Consider me your go-to girl for a guilt-free and natural-looking spray tan. Not only do I stand behind all of the ingredients in my solutions (which is so important!), but the results are second to none. There is no one-size-fits-all option here - or orange spray tans for that matter! At each visit, you can expect a customized solution for YOUR unique needs based on your skin tone, desired look, and the event you are tanning for. Popular occasions to book include weddings, vacations, prom, semi-formals, black ties, business headshots, etc.

I've met wonderful women since opening my business, including fellow Co-Co members and the owner of the incredible Magda's Designs. Magda highly recommended that I look into the Co-Co in our first introduction. It's been a wonderful means of finding community, fostering strong and organic connections with other inspiring women, and, most importantly, lifting each other up. That said, I look forward to meeting new faces at upcoming events and encourage you to reach out if I can ever be of service or support in any way!
