Lifelong Jersey girl! I'm originally from Bayonne which is where my parents and grandparents grew up, but I've lived in Rockaway most of my life.I always wanted to start a business! During childhood, I would pretend I had an "ice sculpture business." I would fill up little plastic cups with water, a little picture and food coloring. When I graduated college, I revisited the idea of entrepreneurship as a serious adult. During this time, I brainstormed different ideas. Initially, I tried to start a personal styling business. However, when Covid happened and no one was really focusing on fashion I decided it wasn't for me. I finally decided on digital marketing so I can help small businesses gain some traction during the pandemic. Now I'm working on my inclusion consulting business. I'm looking forward to raising awareness and acceptance around these subjects in the workplace!
I have two businesses now! My first business, Bay Rock Digital Marketing is a digital marketing business. I work with community-focused small businesses to enhance their digital presence. Some of the services I offer are social media marketing, web design, blogging and email marketing. My other business is called i-Empower Solutions. We provide companies with inclusion training around mental health and neurodiversity. I feel like we are still lacking understanding around these topics in the workplace, so I'm hoping we can make some positive change!
I heard about the Co-Co from Michelle at Ateliers 133. During the pandemic, after I launched my first business I joined. At that time, I was really looking for some connection with inspirational women. The Co-Co has been a game-changer for my business ever since I joined.
