Born and raised in a small town outside of Cleveland, Ohio, I went to college at The Ohio State University where I met my husband. We have lived in Chicago, NYC, Hoboken and finally Short Hills, NJ where we currently live with our 15yr old daughter and 12 year old son. I made the hard decision to quite my corporate HR job and stay home with the kids, but soon realized I needed to do something creative and decided to start my own business. With my obsession for candles and desire for clean living, I set out to make a clean luxury candle scented beautifully with timeless design. The process of sourcing glass, packaging and eco-friendly products became my mission for the year before I launched Birch House Candles in 2016. Now, after 7 years in business I am still having fun!

Living in the area, i've had the opportunity to attend many different Co-Co events throughout the years - and even met my brand photographer at a vendor event! Recently, I realized I was spending too much time in my candle lab (as wonderful as it is), and craved personal interactions and a desire to network with like-minded women. The Co-Co programing is exactly what I needed – with so many opportunities to join in-person or virtual, I am stepping a little out of my comfort zone, but know the reward will be worth it!
