My story of investing in others' health began many years ago during my original training preparing for a medical career.  Rather than interacting with patients in a clinical setting, I decided to focus on influencing research and policy.  This involved 3 stages of reflective metamorphosis, eventually leading to double franchise ownership.

A decade's worth of spiritual and emotional growth created a path to find my true calling: helping others be their best selves, while optimizing the work/life balance for my own family.  KIKA Stretch, Inc turned out to be that pathway, as I transitioned from client to Summit, NJ owner.  The process of franchising was so fulfilling, I invested in a second studio, in nearby Short Hills.

My franchised studios' corporate partnerships include the American Heart Association, Lululemon, Flywheel, Motion Fitness, Fit36, 24Hour Fitness, Smoothie King, Jackrabbit, and The Co-Co.  For the entrepreneurial community, keeping stress levels as low as possible creates a cascading effect of better health.  In addition to our pioneer stretching methods, our quarterly "Sip 'N Stretch" events highlight common health issues, while providing a public speaking platform for underrepresented medical professionals.  As an individual, serving as a mentor for those branching out into the wellness/fitness industry brings tremendous joy.

Our relationship with The Co-Co began within our first month of opening; we were looking for likeminded businesses.  Seeing the space & bright orange logo made me reminiscent of my NYC coworking space, sans commuter train venture.  The enticing programming drew me even closer, as I walked the 3 block journey through DeForest lots.  This new community of powerful women helped solidify my business choices and foster new relationships.

I look forward to wherever the future may take us.
